Old School Loving

I stepped outside this afternoon and I couldn't help but notice my mom's flowers that were growing so tall in her garden. Everything beside the shoes were thrifted.

I pray that in the next lifetime, in another galaxy, our cards are drawn perfectly,
so we can do everything we always wanted to do together.

We'll go to the mountains and you can play your tune to show me your affection.
However, you need not to, you're already my tune, my favorite muse.
You told me "I'll make sure you remember I love you".
You've always had. I can see it the way you look at me.

Those warm brown eyes,
I wanted to wake up seeing them crease up.
I wanted to share my life with them.
Those songs we shared to each other,
I wanted to fall asleep listening to them with you.
I wanted to be the only girl you played your guitar for.

The moon is like time.
It linked us together, yet pulls us away. At the wrong time.
However, as long as the moon existence beside our sun,
we need not say it, we'll always remember each other no matter where this life takes us.

You wished me to be happy, as I too, wished you the same.
If your happiness came to love another woman, I'll be okay. I'll understand.
This life isn't fair. Cupid listens to no one.
I'm just happy we were both each other's first love.

If that time ever do come, you know me, my curiosity goes a long way.

Okay, I know what you're thinking. I'll stop here.

Autumn is here. Same exact season and time when we both said goodbye back then.
There's a saying that I'm starting to believe: history repeats.
Like the ocean pushing the waves back and forth to the shore,
our body will never forget to whom we gave our heart to.
We'll always want to come back for more.

Turning 20

Yesterday I turned 20. I can't believe it. I'm so grateful and blessed to still be here breathing. One more year until I fully reach adulthood which scares me. However I'm not rushing it. I'm just gonna take these days slow and inhale it all in.

Branching on with Life

Wow. The last time I was here on Blogger was back in February 2011. I only posted twice and I never touched it again (probably because I forgot my password). Today I stumbled upon Blogger again thanks to a Youtuber I was watching (chrissstttiiine). I looked up my old and abandon profile that still exists and it blew me away. Reading back on the posts just reminded me of how innocent and naive I was back in high school. I always had so much in my mind that I wanted to do and have in life and I knew that at a very young age. Amazingly, I still have so much passion for the things I mentioned on my "Interests". What struck me from my old blog was when I said "I've been inspired so much but I can never find the time to do them." Still till this day, I always give myself that same excuse. However, because I'm taking a break from school, that is gonna change. No more excuses... just more effort and branching on with life. :)

Gatlinburg, Tennessee

Went with the love and his family to TN and it was so much fun! It was my first time there and boy did I not want to leave. Some pictures of us :)
